How fees are calculated
Fees are based on the level of care required and the size of the chosen room. The home aims to provide good value and keep room prices competitive within the local area. Please contact the home for current room availability and fee levels.
Usually included
Accommodation
A private bedroom, use of communal rooms, bed and bed linen, towels, floor coverings, curtains, mirror, chair, drawers, wardrobe, table and bedside table. Every bedroom has an en-suite toilet and basin; some have an en-suite wet-room shower.
Staff and personal care
Trained and experienced staff are available 24 hours a day, covering care, food preparation, cleaning and management. Assessed personal care needs are supported by care staff.
Food, drink and laundry
Three meals, snacks and drinks are included, with provision for dietary needs and preferences. Personal clothing and bed linen are laundered in-house; clothing should be clearly labelled.
Utilities, cleaning and activities
Daily cleaning, central heating, electricity, water and weekday social activities are included. The home also assists residents in accessing available NHS services.
Items that may cost extra
Items outside the standard fee may include dry cleaning, hairdressing, newspapers and magazines, some chargeable social activities, visitor meals, luxury food items, private telephone installation, private television installation, some visiting professionals and some longer-distance or extended chaperoning.
Continence products may be obtained through available funding arrangements where a resident is assessed as requiring them. The home also operates a small shop selling toiletries and cosmetics.
